The Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training's Procomunal Network https://procomun.educalab.es has just published its enhanced mobile application, which is available for free download from the Google and Apple online stores. It provides access to the professional social network and the repository of Open Educational Resources (REA), which are specially designed for pre-university education,

Users can, from their mobile phone, search, view, create and download educational resources hosted there. The application uses facetted searches, which improve the results obtained through traditional relevance searches, so that users get reduced lists of results based on their own reasoning. This is achieved thanks to the fact that Procomún's Educational Resources have associated attributes, properties, labels and categories that are used by the search system.

Among other things, the application allows registered users to bookmark those filtered resources that are of interest to them, and synchronizes them with their profile on the Commonwealth Network, making them available on the next connection they make.

It also allows resources to be easily shared through communication applications installed on the user's mobile device, such as instant messaging, email or social networking programs.

Finally, it should be noted that educational resources can be created: articles, learning itinerary, podcast and external content.
