Abstract: This article contains an evaluation of the telephone survey on "Metadata", which was conducted in the summer of 2015 among the institutions participating in the project e-Infrastructures Austria. The purpose of the survey was to take stock of the repositories used at each university to gain an overview of the most important software systems and their specific uses, the most commonly used metadata standards, and users' habits and expectations. Future plans and developments were also part of the questionnaire."
