Google English: "State Secretary Knops calls for innovative use of open data

The Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations will issue the Stuiveling Open Data Award (SODA) for the third time this year. The award rewards the best application that uses open data from the Dutch government with 20,000 euros. This can for example be a website or app. State Secretary Knops presents the award on October 4 during the Innovation Expo in Rotterdam. Applications can be submitted until 5 September.

Open data is everywhere. We often use them unnoticed: when navigating in traffic, for rain radar or for public transport information. Or if we look at information about care, education and governments. The Stuiveling Open Data Award (SODA) stimulates the innovative use of open data and makes visible what is possible...."
