Events in honor of Luca Trevisan

The following events will take place to honor our dear colleague and friend Luca Trevisan, that our community lost this June.
- RANDOM-APPROX 2024 will include a session in memory of Luca Trevisan consisting of a few short talks highlighting Luca’s contributions to pseudorandomness and hardness of approximation, organized by Noga Ron-Zewi and Dieter van Melkebeek. RANDOM-APPROX 2024 will be held in London, UK, on August 28-30, 2024, and all details about Luca’s memorial session will be available soon on the conference websites: RANDOM 2024, APPROX 2024.
- LucaFest@Simons will be held at the Simons Institute in Berkeley from October 7-9, organized by Alexandra Kolla, Alistair Sinclair, Nikhil Srivastava, and Salil Vadhan. This workshop will be open to all who would like to attend, subject to capacity constraints. Stay tuned for registration information when it is available.
- There will be a one-day workshop in honor of Luca on December 1 immediately prior to TCC 2024 at Bocconi University in Milan, organized by Andrej Bogdanov and Hoeteck Wee.
