POSITION DETAILS

The Office of Library Services (OLS) at the Central Administrative Office of CUNY supports the libraries at the University's 24 campuses to coordinate and enhance library services for students and faculty in partnership with campus librarians. The Office provides the CUNY+ online catalog, negotiates University-wide contracts and licenses, provides central cataloging services and subsidizes the CUNY Digital Library Collection and resource sharing.

The Open Educational Resources Manager will administer operations for OLS CUNY OER Initiatives. The OER Manager will provide program management, planning, advocacy, outreach, and project management for CUNY OER Initiatives. The manager will collaborate with colleagues across CUNY to develop campus OER scale-up initiatives; develop and deliver programs; design processes and services supporting the integration of open content into a college's curriculum; seek OER collaborations between CUNY faculty to develop OER; work closely with staff to assess OER work and accessibility compliance; and work with CUNY OLS and OAA Administration to develop a long-term business and sustainability model for OER at CUNY. The position reports to the University Dean of Libraries and Information Systems.
