Summary:

The first National Diamond Open Access Conference in Switzerland seeks to raise awareness for scholar-led and community-owned scholarly publishing and to bring together the Swiss Diamond Open Access community around issues of sustainability.

Sustainability concerns the question of funding but also encompasses aspects of governance and ownership, the transparency of costs, the long-term provision of shared infrastructures, collaboration as well as institutional recognition and procedures of research assessment. The objective of this conference is to discuss pathways towards a sustainable and equitable scholarly communication system in Switzerland.

The conference is organised by the «Platinum Open Access Funding» Project (PLATO).

Attendance is free of charge.
