Are you considering publishing an open access book? Want to learn more about OA book publishing?

Meet Open Book Publishers and punctum books, two scholar-led, non-profit, ‘sparkly Diamond’ open access (OA) book presses, who publish all their books openly without charging authors fees. Both mission-driven publishers led by researchers, they will share why it matters and is more powerful to publish your research open access and also outline how their presses, and others like them, approach OA: not as a way to generate revenue through exorbitant, but as a meaningful mode of publishing research that involves passion, skill, and expertise, and which has greater reach and impact.

You will find out more about how these presses operate, what drives them, how you might publish with them (or others like them), and how your research can be better presented and more easily discovered and shared across the world. There will be plenty of time for your questions and discussion in addition to the presentations, and we hope you will go away with increased knowledge about and a fresh perspective on open access books.
