The Journey to CoreTrustSeal Certification Begins for Ten Repositories | FAIRsFAIR

Representatives from ten data repositories received the first of two rounds of training in CoreTrustSeal certification at DANS in The Hague last week.  Selected by a FAIRsFAIR expert committee from a field of 80 respondents to an Open Call  issued in August 2019, the repositories had been assessed in terms of their focus on long-term data preservation and reuse as well as on the feasibility of their obtaining CoreTrustSeal certification within the given time frame. A diverse geographical and disciplinary spread was also ensured.
