Vision- An open source ecosystem in which maintainers can focus on their projects full-time, be funded by the companies that depend on them, and for those companies to attain a competitive advantage via access to faster, cheaper & more sustainable execution. Mission- To increase the quality of software globally by making open source more accessible. We will achieve this as a sustainable company through: Selling companies easier access to the ecosystems they depend on; Selling companies tools that increase their visibility into their software supply chain and thereby allows them to proactively work on increasing the sustainability of the open source projects they depend on; Getting maintainers funded for the work they’ve already done without creating future obligations; Connecting maintainers with the companies that depend on them; Giving maintainers the periphery services they need to work independently (we’ll be their sales & marketing arm, provide them health insurance, etc). More value to companies → More donations to open source → More open source maintainers → Improved code quality...."
