2021 Boat Sales in Florida – Boat Industry Data

In 2021, 231,030 boats were sold and titled in Florida.

Every 2 months, Boat History Report compiles the number of new titles being issued in Florida, and compares them to previous months and years. These graphs and statistics include both new boat sales and pre-owned boats being sold and titled to new owners. These numbers reflect the number of boat sales taking place in Florida and correlate to industry trends for boat sales nationwide.

November and December 2021 Boat Stats

The past two months show a YOY decrease in the number of new boat titles being issued in Florida.  The results for November and December are -0.45% and -6.00%, respectively.  While these figures are down from 2020, there is an increase of 21.76% and 24.96% for November and December, respectively, when compared to 2019. For 2021 as a whole, new boat titles were up 3.74%.

September and October 2021 Boat Stats

The past 2 months showed a YOY decrease in the number of new boat titles being issued in Florida. The results for September and October are -9.79% and -8.31%, respectively.  While these figures are down from 2020, there is an increase of 37.21% and 14.53% for September and October, respectively, and when compared to 2019. 

July and August 2021 Boat Stats

The past two months show a YOY decrease in the number of new boat titles being issued in Florida.  The results for July and August are -25.49%% and -12.04%, respectively.  While these figures are down from 2020, there is an increase of 1.87% and 15.48% for July and August, respectively, when compared to 2019.

May and June 2021 Boat Stats

The past two months show a YOY decrease in the number of new boat titles being issued in Florida.  The results for May and June are -8.36% and -20.34%, respectively.  While these figures are down from 2020, there is an increase of 4.26% and 19.11% for May and June, respectively, when compared to 2019.

March and April 2021 Boat Stats

The past two months have shown the greatest YOY increase in new titles being issued in Florida with March up 77.8% and April up 148.3%.  YTD, new boat titles are up 58.8% YOY.

January and February 2021 Boat Stats

2021 is off to a great start with Florida continuing to see YOY increases in new titles being issued with January up 10.6% and February up 23.7%, for an overall 17.1% increase YTD.
