This 8th edition of the 'Let’s Talk Open Science' webinars organised by the CCSD (Fr: Centre pour la Communication Scientifique Directe) presents two complementary approaches of ensuring that authors can publish open access and preserve their rights. The first approach is the Rights Retention Strategy (presentation made by Benoît PIER). The second approach is fair contracts between authors and publishers (Daniel BATTESTI and Cécile BEAUCHAMPS presented the model contracts developed by Médici’s publishers).
