[From Google's English] "'It must be free to read any scientific articles from Danish research institutions.' That was the clear message in a press release from the education and research minister on 24 June.
Education and Research Minister Sofie Carsten Nielsen has drawn up a national strategy for open access - that is, open access to research.
It will enhance the quality of research and public service, says chairman of the Librarian Association Soren Kløjgaard:
- We have the Librarian Association long sought free access to research results. It's not only the expertise to good, but also the entire population, which is now possible via the local library may have access to the latest research, he says ..."
