abernard102@gmail.com 2012-04-18

Summary:

In a brief post the blogger expresses support for open access anthropology journals. The blogger also provides links to other anthropology blogs such as “Savage Minds,” “Neuroanthropolgy,” and “Ethnografix” where there has been recent “discussion of open anthropology publishing.” The blogger sees open access journals as being of the same or higher quality as their “for-profit counterparts.” The blogger expresses commitment to open access even if, “as an up and coming academic [it means] putting my career on the line [to] promise to only publish in open access journals....”
