"I am using figshare since one month and I am already loving it. It is currently hosting an appendix for a research paper (in press), a completely open-access paper, and the sources of a software program. In the last two days, I compiled a list of Open Access (i.e., DOAJ-listed), peer-reviewed journals in Software Engineering and Information Systems. It required quite some effort to build this comparison. Since figshare also hosts datasets, why not publishing it and tuning it into opendata? So I uploaded it. Maybe someone else finds it useful. Maybe somebody even does some research employing that data. In that case, the dataset becomes fully citable. Want to see more? Click on the post title."
