Throughout the week, the UH Mānoa community is invited to learn about open educational resources at the Outreach College, to navigate the impact of copyright on teaching and research, and how to contribute to Wikipedia. Open Access Week is an international event providing the global academic and research community the opportunity to learn about and share experiences with OA, with the aim of helping to make OA a new norm in scholarship and research. Open Access to information—the free, immediate, online access to the results of scholarly research, and the right to use and reuse those results as needed—has the power to transform the way research and scientific inquiry are conducted. This year is the eighth year for Open Access Week and the fifth year of participation for UH Mānoa ..."
