"Our friends at the Liverpool University Press have launched an exciting new open access initiative focusing on scholarship on modern languages. The new site, Modern Languages Open (MLO), is a 'platform for the open access dissemination of peer-reviewed scholarship from across the modern languages to a global audience.' Scholars submit articles, which then go through a double-blind peer review process. MLO’s site touts a rapid turnaround from submission to publication, with rewards for article reviewers.
