So far, the term is associated mainly free access to scientific publications, the University of Würzburg supported with the provision of a publication fund, the publication service OPUS or the newly founded University Press. On the occasion of the International Open Access Week (October 20 to 26 2014) informs Kristina Hanig (Open Access Officer of the University) in the lecture "From Open Access to Open Science" fundamentally about the topic open access as well as on the current offered by the University for their families.
