The Open Access Symposium 2016 will be held May 19 and 20. A call for proposals will be issued shortly. This year's conference is being held in conjunction with the Library Publishing Coalition's third annual Library Publishing Forum, taking place May 17-19, 2016 ... The University of North Texas is pleased to announce a call for contributions to its 7th annual Open Access Symposium, to be held May 19–20, 2016, in conjunction with the Library Publishing Forum 2016. The goal of this symposium is to bring a broad community of researchers and practitioners together to share their work and explore the value and impact of freely available scholarly literature on education and research.  The symposium features a mix of invited speakers, panels, and interactive sessions in various formats. Proposals will be reviewed by staff of the UNT Libraries for relevance to the topic of open access for inclusivity of participation.  Please use the structure described below to organize and prepare your proposal in PDF format to OASymposium@unt.edu before Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
