University of Alicante Open Data App Challenge | European Public Sector Information Platform

"Following on from an ideas contest held in 2014, the Vice Rectorate of Information Technology at the University of Alicante, Spain, recently launched a new competition to encourage the development of useful apps or services that reuse the data sets available on the University’s Open Data Portal. The aim of this challenge is to grow the open data culture among the university community and general public in Alicante. A jury will select the best entries in three different categories, plus a special prize for the app considered as the most viable business to start. Interested participants have until 20 December 2015 to submit their proposals and until 6 March 2016 to send their app developments."
