Summary:

Use the link to access the presentation posted by IRUS-UK.  "Following on from the successful PIRUS2 project, which demonstrated how COUNTER-compliant article-level usage statistics could be collected and consolidated from Publishers and Institutional Repositories (IRs), Jisc have provided funding to establish 'IRUS-UK', a national aggregation service, containing details of all content downloaded from UK participating IRs.  IRUS-UK is part of UK RepositoryNet+ (RepNet), the Jisc-funded repository and infrastructure service ... The service will consolidate COUNTER-compliant statistics providing opportunities to demonstrate the value and impact of IRs. It will: [1] facilitate comparable, standards-based measurements [2] provide an evidence base for repositories to develop policies and initiatives to help support their objectives [3] provide consistent and comprehensive statistics, presenting opportunities for benchmarking at a national level [4] develop a user community that will ensure that the service is responsive to user requirements ... If you are a UK repository wishing to participate in IRUS-UK, please contact irus@mimas.ac.uk"
