Summary:

Use the link to access the presentation posted in wikipedia by Daniel Mietchen for the World Open Educational Resources Congress 2012. As with all things wiki, additional contributions are welcome. The abstract reads as follows: “The movement towards Open Educational Resources is paralleled by similar movements towards Open Access and Open Research, with the common goal of sharing knowledge as widely as possible and of promoting new ways of collaboration. So far, development in these areas has been coupled only loosely, but numerous possibilities exist to strengthen those ties. This talk shall explore the potential of the Wikimedia Foundation and the wider Wikimedia community in facilitating this process.”
