“The University of New Mexico Libraries and New Mexico State Libraries sponsoring an Association of  College and Research Libraries Scholarly Communications Roadshow in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the UNM Continuing Education Building at 1634 University Blvd. NE. Lunch will be provided. This structured interactive overview of a scholarly communication system supports individual or institutional strategic planning and action. The workshop focuses on new methods of scholarly publishing and communication, open access and openness as a principle, copyright and intellectual property and economics. It is intended to provide a foundational understanding for participants and serve as a catalyst for action.”
