Summary:

[From Google's English] "On the occasion of the International Open Access Week 2013, the Laval University Library presents a lecture-workshop given by Mrs Florence Piron and Pierre Lasou: The movement of open access to scientific publications.  For a dozen years, the open access movement ( open access ) consists of all initiatives to provide free web access without 'pay wall', the results of scientific research. This movement includes publication in scientific journals that provide free access to their content, but also the practices of self-archiving online: authors deposit a version of their publications in an institutional or thematic repository. More and more countries and funding agencies now require open access publications from researchers. How? What are the benefits? The risks? Ask your questions at the conference and workshop."
