Danish agency publishes open govt action plan - Telecompaper

"The Danish Digitisation Agency said it has drawn up an open government action plan, as part of which it is running the Open Gov Camp on 12 November at the Design Society in Copenhagen.  Businesses, members of the public, civic society organisations, public authorities and institutions are invited to take part in the workshops there.  The 'camp' will discuss themese such as democractic participation, open data, co-creation, smart cities, lean start-up methods and digital challenges. The agency said the action plan forms part of its international cooperation under the Open Government Partnership. The themes of the action plan are local democracy, digital communication and inclusion, new forms of cooperation and open data. Initiatives include encouraging first-time voters, working with civic societies to support digital self-service, implementing a new volunteer charter and efforts to make public data accessible."
