Summary:
“[1] Open Access at Wikimania ... Several Wikimania 2012 talks covered Open Access, Open Science or related issues, including a panel contribution at the GLAM Night Out as well as presentations on the Open Access Media Importer and on the Research Committee's activities. [4] WikiProject Medicine collaborates with journals... WikiProject Medicine has launched a collaboration with the journal Open Medicine to publish high-quality medical articles from Wikipedia into the journal. The first article in this track is Dengue fever. This complements ongoing efforts with the journal PLoS Computational Biology to publish review articles in such a way that they can continue to evolve...”
