Open Access to scientific publications and good practices in research (Research Integrity) were at the heart of their discussions. Discussion highlighted that the whole range of options towards Open Access (gold, green and other models) should be considered in order to accommodate a variety of situations (different disciplines, various publications formats and journal in national languages, etc.) and to ensure an effective implementation. An informal complementary meeting with publishers was also part of the discussion. As for Research Integrity, the existing sets of principles (European Code of Conduct, Singapore Declaration) were acknowledged, and there was discussion of the need to further consider the responsibilities and expectations of research funders, especially with regard to cross-border collaboration..."
