In German but with this English-language abstract: Recently, major international scientific publishers have been criticized for tracking on their websites. They are accused of mining personal data about scientists and their activities on the web in order to monetarize them. This article shows which tracking methods Springer Nature and Wiley use on their websites, how a browser can block web tracking and the consequences that may arise for research infrastructures.
