European Rights Retention Community of Practice - June 2025

"The fifth meeting of the European Rights Retention Community of Practice (CoP) will focus on rights retention as a key policy tool for achieving Open Access through the green route. Stephen Wyber, External Affairs Director of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), will update participants on European policy developments, including the ERA Act and discussions on rights retention and secondary publishing rights. The session will also review what has been discussed in the previous meetings, and we will ask the community about progress made so far.
