"Open access (OA) publishing is rapidly evolving, with policymakers at institutional, national, and organisational levels increasingly incorporating books into their OA policies or developing new policies specifically for OA books. As the volume of policies increase, so does the need for tools and resources to help those impacted by such policies to find and understand them. These tools can also help policymakers to gather, reflect, and build on the work of their peers when crafting their own policies.
To help address this need, the Open Access Books Network (OABN) brought together representatives from three three such tools designed to help policymakers, authors, librarians, and publishers navigate the complex world of OA book policies, in a webinar on Wednesday 9 May 2025 called ‘Services for OA book policy making’...."
