"Join us for an update on UNESCO’s Global Consultation on Diamond Open Access (Diamond OA), a community-led initiative rooted in the values of the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science (2021).

Launched in July 2024, the consultation aims to identify the key priorities, challenges, and opportunities in the Diamond OA ecosystem. As part of this process, a multilingual global survey was launched in September 2025 to gather diverse perspectives and experiences from across the Diamond OA community. This session will provide an overview of the consultation process, highlight early findings, and invite discussion on next steps."
