Summary:
"Publish, Review, Curate (PRC) is an umbrella term for scholarly publishing initiatives that build on the growing trend of preprint sharing. It typically involves communities that review open preprints, providing an evaluation and/or endorsement of articles, based on a request by the author. PRC is a highly flexible model that can support a wide range of workflows and scholarly communities. It can, for example, replicate a typical scholarly journal by “publishing” reviewed preprints or it can be applied in new and innovative ways.
This public forum will showcase various PRC initiatives from around the world, demonstrating the adaptability of the model and illustrating its many benefits such as increased rigour, greater efficiency, and transparency.
The event will take place on December 3, 2025 at King’s College, Cambridge University. Registration is free, but limited to 65 registrants. Attendance is based on a first-come, first-serve basis."
