Virtual Networking Forum: Integration of Institutional Open Access Repositories into the broader Open Science Landscape — Institut für Bibliotheks- und Informations­wissen­schaft

The research project "Professionalization of the Open Access Repositories Infrastructure in Germany (Pro OAR DE)" aims at supporting and improving Open Access Repositories landscape (OAR) in Germany through an open and cooperative approach. To this end, a series of expert interviews and a systematic literature review were conducted to identify and address current challenges in operating OAR.

In the seventh virtual networking forum on the topic of integration of institutional Open Access repositories into the broader Open Science Landscape we aim to address key challenges related to IRs and the Open Science Landscape with the community of Open Access professionals (OA officers, repository managers, management personnel of libraries, computing centers, and data centers). Following a thematic introduction by the project team, invited experts will present specific action options for integration of IRs into the broader Open Science Landscape. 4 pm – 4:10 pm Welcome and Project Presentation
