Summary:

"In San Diego on November 6-8th, a group of 25 open-science leaders convened for an intensive implementation sprint focused on unifying modular scientific publishing tools.

The meeting, ‘From Tools to Adoption: A Path to Modular & Interactive Scientific Publishing’, hosted by openRxiv and the Continuous Science Foundation provided dedicated time and space for invited participants to collaborate and work together on establishing a federated reference architecture using real bioRxiv content and connected authoring tools. The aim was to resolve critical technical gaps and demonstrate live interoperability, effectively laying the foundation for machine-readable research publishing. The full meeting summary is available here.

ICOR is pleased to be hosting a public webinar to share and amplify the meeting outcomes and invite the wider community to contribute to the ongoing work. This event will feature a brief introduction followed by four lightning talks from some of the participants who will describe the key achievements and future direction of the project."
