TÜBITAK and Open Science | EuroCRIS

Abstract:  TÜBITAK is the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye. The presentation focuses on the TÜBİTAK Open Science Policy and the various areas and mechanisms though which the implementation of such policy is supported. In the area of infrastructure, brief descriptions are provided for resources like the Aperta multidisciplinary national repository, the Harman national aggregator service, the DergiPark collection of locally edited academic journals and the TR Dizin national scientific literature index. The presentation also explores the transformative Open Access agreements managed by TÜBITAK and their uptake.
