"Join us on January 26th at 12 pm ET / 9 am PT as we continue our USRN Community Conversations series, a space for members of the US Repository Network to connect, learn, and share emerging practices.
With the April 2026 Title II ADA compliance deadline on the horizon, repositories across the country are working to interpret requirements and prepare their digital content for accessibility. This session will feature a panel of experts discussing how institutional and data repositories are approaching this work, what guidance they’ve received from legal and accessibility offices, and how they are incorporating tools, AI, and new workflows into their remediation efforts.
Panelists will reflect on where they are in the process, the challenges posed by legacy content and limited resources, and the strategies they’re developing to build sustainable, accessible repository services. The conversation will offer a snapshot of national readiness and practical insights for practitioners facing similar questions."
