Nominations Open – 2026 Sarah Jones Award

"The Research Data Alliance is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2026 edition of ‘The Sarah Jones Award for exceptional contribution to fostering collaboration in Open Science‘ are now open. 

This bi-annual award honours the memory of Sarah Jones, and her significant contributions to the Open Science community globally.

Nominations

We invite nomination for individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional contribution to fostering collaboration in Open Science. This impact can be on an organisational, community or individual level. This award is open to all nominees and not restricted to members of the RDAcommunity however a demonstration ofcontributionwithin the RDAcommunityis of great importance.

The deadline for receipt of nominations is 14th June 2026. Before nominating, please read the Terms of Reference carefully for full nomination criteria, and more on the selection process."
