Summary:

From Google's English:  Abstract:  Purpose/Thesis: The purpose of this study is to analyze how academic Libraries support open science through Infrastructure, policy frameworks, and practices in federal universities in Southeastern Nigeria.

Approach/Methods: A survey of library staff at five federal universities (N = 208) used a structured questionnaire; descriptive statistics were used to summarize indicators of infrastructure, policies, and practices.

Results and conclusions: Libraries demonstrate a moderate level of infrastructural readiness and policies and are engaged in repository management, but struggle with a lack of stable energy supply, ineffective dissemination of activities, and limited collaboration with academic staff; the main barriers are insufficient Funding and ICT deficits.

Originality/Value: The paper provides localized empirical evidence linking library infrastructure, policies, and practices to the adoption of open Science in the region, thereby supporting the shaping of institutional and national strategies.
