On November 25, 2025, the Service Center for Diamond Open Access ( SeDOA ) hosted its first online event, "Diamond Open Access at the National Level: Impulses, Perspectives, Exchange ." As the German Diamond Capacity Centre, SeDOA aims to highlight the current status of Diamond Open Access and provide centralized information. The event focused on the activities, challenges, and aspirations of national initiatives. The goal was to identify common ground and create synergies for a cross-national transformation towards Diamond Open Access. The event thus marked an important starting point for stronger networking among Diamond Open Access activities."
