It is meant to provide guidance for the most common questions we have seen, rather than definitive answers for every possible scenario. Most importantly, the FAQ does not apply the law to any individual’s specific circumstances: we do not provide you with legal advice. Laws, institutional policies, and disciplinary norms can vary, and reasonable interpretations may differ.
