Supported by leading German research organizations, DEAS brings together universities, universities of applied sciences, and research institutions of all sizes across Germany and operationally implements the DEAL agreements with the three largest scientific publishers. As a result, researchers in Germany publish Open Access easily and at no additional cost – their research results are immediately available worldwide and free of charge. At the same time, DEAS ensures all participating institutions have full access to the scientific journal portfolios – under transparent, fair conditions."
