Summary:
"Thank you for participating in this survey. This study is a national effort to map diamond open access publishing in the United States. Diamond open access journals make research freely available to readers without charging authors fees to publish. These journals are typically supported by academic institutions, libraries, scholarly societies, or other non-commercial organizations. They do not require subscriptions or payments to read or publish. This survey is intentionally brief. Our goal is to hear from as many journals as possible in order to understand the scope and diversity of diamond open access publishing in the United States. We are not asking for detailed operational or financial information at this stage. If you are willing, we may follow up for a more in-depth conversation. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. This project is led by Lyrasis, the Big Ten Academic Alliance Libraries, and the California Digital Library, with funding from the Gates Foundation."
