Academic Library DMP Support in Transition: A Current Snapshot

"This survey is designed to capture a snapshot of how US-based academic libraries are supporting researchers’ Data Management Plans (DMPs) or Data Management and Sharing Plans (DMSPs) (hereinafter referred to as DMPs). With significant shifts in federal policies over the last year, and with significant changes to DMPs (e.g., NIH and NSF) in the months ahead, we want to better understand the current landscape of DMP services at academic libraries before these changes take effect. We are interested in all library DMP services, including consultation practices and, for libraries that manage or support one, institutional (data) repository activity, AI-ready data, and related services."
