Communication and knowledge sharing about libraries' support for open access without author charges (Libraries as Collective Actors Part 2)

Summary:

"Many questions from our recent Wayfinders #7 conversation (https://bit.ly/3SY8fRc) about libraries as collective actors remained unanswered.

OASPA is therefore pleased to announce this follow-on webinar, which will continue to unpack further library perspectives on supporting non-author-fee models for open access (OA). The conversation will be geared towards practical help for libraries and publishing organisations, such as:

• How do libraries advocate for OA and handle messaging within their institutions?

• What do libraries most need to know about OA offerings - those that seek to transition to no-fee models, or that already do not charge author-facing fees?

• What advice and best practice inputs can be shared about communications from/with OA publishers?"
