Open Science: ERC verfolgt eigene Open Access-Linie (ERC has its own open access line)

"The scientific council of the European Research Council (ERC) has decided to no longer support the European open access initiative "Plan S". The reason for the withdrawal is an ERC message from Monday that a rule stipulates that researchers who are funded by Plan S supporters will only be able to publish in hybrid journals to a limited extent from the coming year. In principle, the ERC stands by the objectives of the "Plan S", but wants to pursue them independently of this."
