While granting publishers relevant rights to disseminate a paper in their journal, the authors also retain certain rights to allow the papers to be freely shared – and used by sites like Sci-Hub. One of the leaders of this initiative is cOAlition S, a group of national research funding organisations, with the support of the European Commission and the European Research Council...."
