"The University of Wyoming Libraries is evaluating systems to replace Sierra. As vendor consolidation continues to shrink available choices, open source solutions are gaining traction. Comparing vendor products with open source is a new experience for many of us. Resource sharing both within the state of Wyoming and in the Colorado Alliance, enhancing discovery, modern cloud infrastructure, and streamlining e-resources workflows are major concerns. We’ll share the processes we followed to assess requirements, evaluate available systems, and encourage participation and feedback from across the Libraries and close partners. "
