From Google's English:  "The Chief Scientist of Quebec and the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) today launched a revised version of the Open Access Dissemination Policy , an important step aimed at making the results of the research generated by the funding they provide. From now on, the publications of results distributed in scholarly journals will benefit from faster and wider coverage.

The FRQ have initiated several measures in recent years to support open science, in particular with the adoption in 2019 of the first version of the Open Access Dissemination Policy, the signing of the Declaration on the sharing of results concerning COVID , positions taken in parliamentary committees and various works on access to data. In 2021, the FRQ joined the cOAlition S , which brings together some twenty funding organizations around the world, to support immediate open access. Today, in 2022, the FRQ are taking another step towards open science and launching the revised version of their Policy.

Key changes to the Policy include:

• Immediate open access – end of 12-month embargo (publication available upon publication on the scholarly journal's website or in an institutional/disciplinary repository);
• Open license for reuse and dissemination of the publication in various forms...."
