Summary:
"'Early Modern Thought Online' (EMTO) is a database offering access to about 13.500 digitized source texts from early modern philosophy and related disciplines like history of science and history of theology provided by libraries in Europe and overseas. In the present stage of its development, EMTO presents mainly links to external resources. A list of repositories is available. In order to get acquainted with some lesser-known aspects of early modern philosophy, you may have a look at our very short introduction to early modern philosophy, Early Modern Thought 101.
EMTO is an ongoing project. We highly appreciate any further suggestions concerning digital resources on early modern philosophy and related disciplines.
EMTO has been developed at the Lehrgebiet Philosophie I of the Institut für Philosophie at the FernUniversität in Hagen, Germany, and is part of the activities of the ESEMP. It has been funded by the Gerda-Henkel-Stiftung and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft."
