Google's English: German libraries develop a master plan to digitize the printed German heritage of the early modern period. For the first time an attempt is dared to digitize in a systematic way for a century and to create a new approach to German literature. Among them are many in the public until now little-known treasures. 15 libraries have joined forces and under the auspices of the Herzog August Library prepared a master plan to take on the daunting task jointly.
