Scopus, you’re unravelling

Jeffrey Beall's bookmarks 2013-08-19

A blog post from a librarian at Massey University in New Zealand that takes Scopus to task for indexing low-quality open-access journals that are not worthy of abstracting and indexing.  The blog post also highlights some weaknesses of the journal called AMERICAN ACADEMIC AND SCHOLARLY RESEARCH JOURNAL. The post also contains updates that describe how one journal has threatened the author.
